The Hydrophiidae is Snake Oiler's T-180 from the Speed Racer film. Like his rally car, this WRL racer is also part of the Hydra-Cell racing team.

Background

Those who watch the movie closely can see the Hydrophiidae in the opening race at Thunderhead. Unfortunately for Snake Oiler, the car is not seen after that since the Hydrophiidae also crashes in that race.

Videogame

The Hydrophiidae appears in the Console and Nintendo DS versions of the tie-in Videogame as Snake Oiler's T-180.

Console

In the console versions, the Hydrophiidae is unlocked upon beating Championship 2 of Class 1 (Tallabe Trophy Cup). The car has average stats overall with focus on speed and lacking acceleration.

DS

In the DS version, the Hydrophiidae is a vehicle that is unlocked from the start. Its style is described as "Good Control".
