The Taangrisnir is Gothorm Danneskjøld's T-180 from Speed Racer The Videogame. The T-180 doesn't appear in the 2008 film, only a street car version of the vehicle.
Technical Details[]
From all appearances, the Taangrisnir is constructed with Danish elm, whale bone, and wrought iron, much like Thor-Axine's own street cars.
Videogame[]
The Taangrisnir appears in the Console and DS versions of the Videogame.
Console[]
In the console versions, the Taangrisnir is unlocked upon beating Championship 2 of Class 3 (First In Last Out Championship). The car has great strength, good speed, lacking handling and terrible acceleration.
DS[]
In the DS version, the Taangrisnir is unlocked upon amassing 275,000 fans. Its style is described as "Good Control".
Trivia[]
- "Taangrisnir" is the name of one of the two goats who pull the god Thor's chariot in Norse mythology, although the correct spelling of the name is "Tanngrisnir."
- In the files from the Videogame, this vehicle is referred to as "Mjolnir", after the hammer wielded by Thor in Norse mythology.
- The Videogame wrongly gave Taangrisnir the number 65 (which is the number of Gothorm's teammate, Broom Hilda) instead of Gothorm's original number; 63.
