Skull Duggery is well known for his dirty driving tactics. He is a friend but mostly rival of Speed Racer, He also often intentionally causes other racers to crash, earning him his nickname of "Dirty Driver Duggery". During the episode "Challenge of the Masked Racer", he is called Zoomer Slick due to the inconsistent translations in earlier episodes.

- Duggery's name is like many characters in the series, a pun, referring to "skullduggery", which means deceit or trickery.
