The first series consisted of 52 episodes and aired in Japan between 1967 and 1968. Later it aired in the United States and many other western countries.
The New Adventures of Speed Racer[]
This series was american-produced and consisted of 13 episodes, which aired in 1993. It was not authorized by Tatsunoko Production.
Speed Racer X[]
This was the third series and second anime which debuted in Japan around 30 years after the debut of the original series. It consisted of 34 episodes, was not well received and therefore cancelled.
Speed Racer: The Next Generation[]
This series is the latest of the franchise and aired in the United States starting in 2008, the year in which also the the rather unsuccessful Speed Racer live-action movie was released. It was american-produced and consisted of 52 episodes.
Speed Racer Lives[]
Speed Racer Lives is an American flash animated web mini series produced by Speed Racer Enterprises, Creative Group Animagic and Heavensport in 2006.
Mach Girl[]
Yet to be realeased on the west it is a 2009 anime mini series of short episodes with a character named Lip on a variety of adventures in her car.
